Safety routines
Drop-off and pickup
Each child is handed over in person, at the door, and goes home only with the adults on your list. We ask for ID from anyone we don't know.
One adult all day
Cirila is with the children from the first arrival to the last pickup, so you always know who is looking after your child.
Allergies
Tell us about any allergy at the tour. Once you enroll, we ask again in private, and the plan is written down in the kitchen.
Rest
Each child has a mat of their own for the nap, with a sheet and nothing else on it, in the quiet corner.
Clean hands
Hands are washed when children arrive, before every meal and after play outside.
Hot days
In the hot months the yard is for early morning. Every child has a water bottle, a hat and shade, and the afternoon is indoors.

What certified means
In Arizona, the Department of Economic Security certifies family child care homes. A certified home may care for up to 4 children, and the certificate is issued to the adult who cares for them. Here that is Cirila, with up to 4 children, ages 12 months to 5 years.
The certificate number is at the bottom of every page, and you can ask to see the certificate at the tour.
Questions about the certificate?
Cirila answers them at the tour, and you can ask to see the certificate in person.
