A day here
How a child spends the day
Each part of the day follows the children and the weather.
- 01Early morning
Step 1: Arrival
Each child arrives with a parent at the door. There is time for a hug and a hat on its hook.
- 02Morning
Step 2: Out in the cool
The yard comes first, while it is still cool: the sandbox, the slide and the garden bed, with water and shade close by.
- 03Mid-morning
Step 3: Table time
Paint, clay, blocks and books at the kitchen table and on the rug. Everyone joins in at their own pace.
- 04Around noon
Step 4: Lunch
A hot lunch cooked in the kitchen, eaten together at the table. Water is on the table all day.
- 05After lunch
Step 5: Rest
Each child has a mat of their own in the quiet corner. Anyone who doesn't sleep looks at books until the others wake.
- 06Late afternoon
Step 6: Pickup
Each child is handed over in person. Cirila tells you how the day went and what they ate.
Out in the yard

Fresh air, at the right hour
The yard is fenced, with a sandbox, a low slide, a swing and a garden bed the children help with. In the hot months we are out early and in by midday; in winter we stay out longer.
Shade, water and a hat for every child
A garden bed with herbs and tomatoes
A swing for the youngest
